After I graduated from Wheaton College, Robin and I got married and I took a job with a small investment banking firm in Pittsburgh. After about a year we decided to move to Cleveland where I did some consulting projects for Waterhouse. I did that for about three years and then took on the role of Director of Product Development for KeyCorp and also went back to school and received an MBA (finance and policy management) from Case Western. In 2001 I took a position with Morningstar, Inc in Chicago and have been with the company ever since. Currently, I am Vice President of Morningstar Associates, where I am responsible for our institutional business. It is a great company and I feel fortunate that I get to do so many different things every day. It is never boring. The family is great, with Devin (age 9) into every sport you can think of and Shelby (age 7) loves dance, shopping and talking non-stop about every topic under the sun. Robin has run a few marathons, whereas I get winded putting on my shoes. When not working or hanging out with the family, I enjoy golfing and consulting several non-profit mission based organizations.
