I have enjoyed reading all of your profiles. I love reading what everyone is doing, seeing your children and catching up on your last 20 years! Great job Greg and team on putting this whole web-site together! I have recently been inspired by Drew C’s pictures and I went searching in my own archives and only found a few random high school pictures here at my home in Devon. I am sure there are mounds of them in Clarks Summit, but I did not have access to them today. There are some great pictures that I want to share with you of some really great friends. Here is a little about my last 20 years:
I graduated from Mt. St. Mary’s in 1992 and went on to earn my CPA and Master in Taxation from Villanova University. I married my husband Peter in 1997, who I met at Mt. St. Mary’s. I have worked in public accounting, The Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and for the last 7 years in the wind energy industry. I am working a part time schedule as I have one super - energetic, crazy Phillies fan, 6 year old beautiful boy, Nicholas and two year old twins (boy and girl) that keep me in constant motion. My little Andrew is packed to the gills with the energy of ten boys and ready to eat one of those squirrels he spends his day chasing and my sweet little Chloe is kind, generous and has a scream only obtainable by small girls. My children and family have been my greatest joy over the past 20 years.
While I am completely exhausted most of the time, I can’t imagine it any other way.
Also since my graduation from AH, I have been so fortunate to stay very close with an amazing group of classmates from 1988. Many of these friendships date back to Grove Street or even Division Street! Over the last 20 years, we have visited each other at college, attended each other weddings, held each other’s newborn babies, shared in christenings, and other very special occasions. There have also been sad times that have brought us together over the years too. We have traveled by trains, planes and automobiles to get together for weekends or other short visits.
Initially after graduation from college, a group of us ended up in the Philly area and had an incredible amount of fun. Shannon K., Manda D. and Alison L. had a house in Manayunk and Kim Wessel and I were in nearby NJ and center city Philadelphia. Shannon was singing at all the local hot spots and the AH group rarely missed any of her shows. It was a wonderful, care free time in our lives. Since then the group has spread all over the country, but when we get together it is as if time has stood still. Below are some pictures from those special times. I am really looking forward to seeing all of you and hearing about your stories.
Cheers,
Molly
